Monthly Happenings

Museum closed until further notice, per Governor, Kate Brown’s orders for “sheltering in place.”

Cancelled: Spring Open House – Saturday, April 4th @ 11am-4pm

Our theme this year is “Victorian Parlor Games” and will feature learning about some simple games that the family can play together.  The Museum house will be decorated for the spring season.  Enjoy tasty treats, a tour of the Farmstead and parlor music by local musicians.  Choose a mini class to learn about the history of some easy games, do a craft and take home one of the games.  Admission is FREE for all ages!  Leave the electronics at home and come participate in some old-fashioned fun!

Our Festive Christmas Open House was held on Saturday, 12-14-19 from 11am to 4pm.  Many people young and old, enjoyed a tour of the Museum, tasty cookies, live music and shopping in our Gift Store.  It was great fun for all!

A Community Gathering Place

The Museum is available for use by small groups and clubs.  This year we have hosted a book club, support group, photography club, civics group and class reunion!   Email us or message us on Facebook to reserve a date for your group!
