Harvest Hosts

We are excited to be a part of the trending RV organization that lets members find unique and fun destinations to spend the night, at no cost to the traveler. At the Farmstead, we have four available RV spaces that can be reserved for a one night stay on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night. On this page you will find useful information for your stay.

  1. We have just been notified that road construction will be occurring on Chestnut Street in front of the Museum. This will not affect your parking spots, but it might be a little inconvenient at times when crossing over the street. We have yet to see what this will look like, but will keep you posted.
  2. Parking: There are several options for parking. We have a large graveled parking lot next to our garden area off of 14th Street. We also have a large grassy area between the back fence and the trees in the back field. The grassy area is behind a gate that is not locked and allows larger RV’s a place to circle around into the graveled parking lot without having to back up.
  3. There is an RV dump station just a few blocks from the Museum located at the small Blue Star Memorial park at the intersection of Main St. and 14th. As you turn left onto 14th St. stay to the right and you will see the parking lot that holds the dump station.
  4. The Museum hours for visitors are Thursday-Saturday from 11am to 4pm. However, the Director is flexible and with prior arrangement may be able to adjust that time just for our Harvest Host visitors.
